POLICE in Xingguo County, Jiangxi Province, have expanded their manhunt for two escaped convicts to the neighboring Gan County seven days after the pair broke out of jail, the Guangzhou Daily reported today.

The search front was extended to 80 kilometers from Xingguo to urban areas of Ganzhou. Police have set up road blocks and are searching in the mountains.
